Newport Beach Boat Parade General Admission Cruises are perfect for those who want to enjoy the beauty of the Newport Beach coastline while cruising in style. Holiday Light cruises take place from December 2 – December 13 and December 19 – December 31.

The city is coming alive with the excitement of Christmas! On the opening night of the parade on Wednesday, December 14, at approximately 6:15 pm, a special opening fireworks display will take place off the Newport Pier to kick off the parade. And, on the final night of the parade, Sunday, December 18, a special fireworks display will close out the parade from the Balboa Pier. Beginning at approximately 9:00 pm, the fireworks will be visible from all around the harbor.

Destination Points for Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade
As the 114th Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade moves its way through this December, it will continue with a route starting and ending point at Tip of Lido Isle. The boat parades begin at approximately 6:30 pm each night from December 14-18, 2022.
The participants of this year’s Parade will start from the east end of Lido Island and follow a celebrated route, with public viewing destinations at 10.5-acre Marina Park as well as other nearby areas along their way!
Residents and visitors will be able to view ships sailing in parades from various locations. The largest public viewing area along this route is at Marina Park, which has 177 parking spaces as well as picnic tables ready for your lunch break or evening meal while you enjoy watching all of these boats skim across the water!
